The Butterfly Pea flowers are carefully picked in autumn at Fearless Monkey Farm in Kailua, Oʻahu. They undergo a gentle drying process, first in the sun and then air-dried with low temperatures, resulting in a beautifully colored herbal tea. It is enjoyed both hot and cold, but the iced version is more popular. In Thailand, it is commonly mixed with with honey, mint, cinnamon, fruits, and spices. 

Brewing instructions: Steep one tea bag for 5-8 minutes to desired strength.  Tea bag can be re-used a second time.

Treehouse Teas is a boutique tea company based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.  They were established in 2016 by Brittnee Lau, originally as a restaurant wholesale service.  In 2020, right before the pandemic, Treehouse Teas decided to dedicate its time and resources to purveying only 100% Hawaiʻi Grown Teas & Botanicals.  Brittnee has been able to form relationships with a collective of small tea farmers on Hawaiʻi Island, as well as botanical farmers statewide. Through its work, Treehouse Teas has been able to educate the public about the illustrious tea industry happening right here in Hawaiʻi.
