What does “local” really mean?
SKY Kombucha is made in Waimānalo, Hawaiʻi by us and our employees who live in the community. We source from local farms whenever we can. We care and take responsibility for the life cycle of our products, from cradle to grave. Because we care about the ‘Āina – the land of Hawai’i – and strive to do what is pono – what is right.
Founded in 2013, SKY Kombucha was created by a hopeful couple with a vision to make kombucha available to everyone and anyone. Over the past several years, we have proudly grown our brand, our family, and our role in supporting the community. We believe kombucha should be delicious, fresh, alive, and affordable.
The first brand to offer kombucha on tap commercially on Oahu, SKY Kombucha is now USDA certified organic, and sources ingredients from local farms where possible. We promise to use the highest quality ingredients and brew with care and love to produce the best tasting kombucha.

SKY Kombucha also operates Hoku Coffee Hawaiʻi, cold brew coffee made locally on Oʻahu. Cold Brew Coffee is unique in its smooth and strong flavor. We keep our ingredients simple: coffee beans and filtered water. Brewed exclusively in Waimanalo, Hawaii.
