12 ounce glass bottle. This raw pineapple vinegar surely packs a delightful punch. Through fermentation, Vintage Vinegars converts fresh, Hawaii-grown pineapples into raw pineapple vinegar. How cool right? Not only is this vinegar full of health benefits, but it is super versatile. Try it in drinks, sauces, marinades, dressings, pickling and more. 

How to use it: 

Sip it/Mix it - We bottle at a pH of 3.0 - 3.2, this is much less acidic than the typical 2.5 commonly found in table vinegar. So it's easier on the pallet when consuming 'straight up' or mixing in a tonic or cocktail.

Pickling- Pickled sweet onions are a favorite in our house and fresh fruit is a great option for a 'quick pickle' as well. Just pack a jar with sliced fruit or veggies, add 1-2 tsp of salt and top with raw pineapple vinegar. Let it rest in the fridge overnight or longer depending on your taste.

Dressings/Sauces/Marinades - Sub our 'Raw Pineapple Vinegar' in for any vinegar used in your favorite salad dressing and sauce recipes for a different spin on things. The fat digesting enzyme, bromelain, found in pineapples makes our vinegar an excellent tenderizer. Incorporate it in a marinade to help make your BBQ or Roast even more delectable.

In the beginning of 2016, Ian and his wife (pregnant with their 3rd son) began experimenting with a pineapple vinegar recipe. They were learning about the benefits of probiotics and bromelain while enrolled in a Health Coaching certification program. The idea for a product that would combine these benefits was born. Starting from a mason jar in the pantry, to home beer making kits, the Vintage Vinegars Team gradually fine tuned and stepped up their recipe. Testing it out themselves as well as friends and family along the way to ensure their product was nothing but pure deliciousness. In March of 2018, they signed a lease on a commercial kitchen and received a Department of Health certification for their process. Vintage Vinegars 'Raw Pineapple Vinegar' is steel cast, small batch, locally sourced and produced on O'ahu, Hawai'i. Ian and his wife, Uluwehi, are proud to offer a product that brings quality and variety to the growing number of people seeking to incorporate healthier choices in their daily lives.
