These lemons are on the smaller side but still bright and juicy. Approx. 5-6 per lb.

Not as pretty but just as juicy and delicious. Reduce food waste! Eat ugly fruit! Ugly on the outside, perfect on the inside. These lemons have cosmetic damage on their peels or might be slightly overripe, but are just as juicy and delicious inside as their prettier (more expensive) cousins. Perfect for juicing or in other applications where you don't need to judge a lemon by its peel. Processing grade lemons are not washed and may show slight residue of organic sulfur or field dirt, which can be easily rinsed off.

About Kahumana Organic Farms

Kahumana Organic Farms is a 25-acre certified organic farm operating in the heart of Lualualei Valley on Oʻahu's beautiful west side since 1978. Their goal is to grow as much food as possible, in the most sustainable way possible.

They are production-oriented, but at their core, they are a regenerative farm utilizing permaculture principles. Their 30+ crops are grown with the following sustainable methods: diversified agriculture, locally sourced organic fertilizers, composting, rotational planting systems, cover cropping, buffer zones, permaculture food forests, mulching, native plants, pollinator gardens, free-range pastured animals, natural farming practices, biodynamic practices, nitrogen-fixing crops, alley cropping, inter-cropping, and more.

They are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that not only provides healthy organic food to the local community but also serves a greater mission of social work. Co-creating a healthy, inclusive, and productive farm-based community with homeless families, people with disabilities and youth since 1974.

Some of their community work includes a day program for 70+ adults with developmental disabilities and autism offering dynamic and engaging opportunities; serving 1,200 meals per day for schools and community events to ensure access to nutritious and affordable food; and providing 110 homeless families in Leeward Oahu with housing, employment, and resources
since 1989.
