  • Hawaiʻi Island Meat Cooperative (HIMC) is producer-member owned cooperative created in direct response to local ranchers' need for greater access to quality and humane USDA-inspected slaughter services. Through their members' cooperative efforts, Hawaiʻi Island Meat Cooperative hopes to revitalize small-scale meat production on Hawaiʻi Island and become a reliable source of high-quality meats throughout the State of Hawaiʻi.

    They operate a Mobile Slaughter Unit in South Kona providing USDA-inspected slaughter services for locally raised livestock (cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats).
