Producer Spotlight: Okoʻa Farms
Okoʻa Farms in upcountry Maui is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant variety of produce, grown with intention and care. Founders Ryan Earehart and Salvador Gil Coca curate a wide range of products, ensuring the freshest and healthiest fruits and vegetables through their commitment to sustainable farming practices. After years of serving Maui's farmers markets, Okoʻa Farms established a permanent home, offering a wide range of organically grown products at their new Kula storefront. This transition reflects their commitment to the community, enhancing accessibility and quality.
Producer Spotlight: Polipoli Farms
Lehia and Brad's farm is within the Nā Wai ʻEhā region (The Four Great Waters of Waikapū, Wailuku, Waiehu, and Waiheʻe) which is famous for its abundance of fresh water. When they purchased the parcel in 2017, it was covered in thick grasses and invasive trees. As they cleared the land for farming, they discovered traditional terraces for growing kalo and an ancient rock wall underneath the overgrowth.
We’re stoked to support the mission by carrying their Māmaki ʻUlu loose leaf tea, and chewy dried bananas on our marketplace!
Our mission is to transform local food production into a thriving industry and make good local food accessible to all of Hawai‘i's people.
Food and agriculture are the nexus of a community's economic, ecological, and sociocultural well-being. Every dollar spent at Farm Link Hawaiʻi supports a more resilient Hawaiʻi.
