It is known as the chocolate pudding fruit for its dark brown, custard-like flesh. This fruit has a light flavor with a rich texture. It is great on its own or made into mousse or brownies.You can also spread it on toast for a nutritious substitute to Nutella.

Nestled in Hale‘iwa’s Anahulu river valley on O‘ahu’s North Shore, Lokoea Farms is a family-run operation that has been growing delicious food since 2000. They mainly produce naturally-grown Hale‘iwa Gold oranges and Meyer lemons, as well as a variety of other fruit & produce including limes, grapefruit, avocado, mango, papaya, and more.Donald started planting the trees about 15 years ago, and his daughter Noe has now joined him as farm manager. They are now both at the farm full-time. As a small farm, they cater to each and every customer, and always encourage open communication and feedback.
They follow GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) to make sure their food is safe. They strive for the freshest, longest-lasting produce by harvesting on-demand and/or following proper post-harvest procedures for each crop.
