In the Hawaiian language, “KAIMANA” translates to “the power of the sea.” Kaimana Jerky started experimenting with fish jerky back in the 80s and found out it was delicious. They gave it to family and friends who loved it too, so they started a family business and began selling locally in Hawai‘i.

Kaimana Jerky is made in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. They are located just a few miles from amazing fishing grounds! Some of the deepest, nutrient-rich waters are just offshore where an abundance of sea life thrives. All of Kaimana Jerky is made, seasoned, and packaged in the same facility! Kaimana Jerky follows strict FDA and Department of Health guidelines to ensure a high-quality product. Their jerky is made with quality ingredients and never contains MSG, nitrates, or preservatives that don’t naturally occur. They also use a preservative-free soy sauce made in the USA.
