Bumpy limes used in Southeast Asian cooking. Very astringent, bumpy rinds, with lots of fragrant citrus oils. Used in many Southeast Asian cuisines. This is the Makrut Lime FRUIT. If you'd like to buy the leaves, please see our other listing. Fruit is harvested green-ripe. Some people say these are delicious squeezed over our papaya - give it a shot and let us know what you think.
Lokoea Farms
Nestled in Hale‘iwa’s Anahulu river valley on O‘ahu’s North Shore, Lokoea Farms is a family-run operation that has been growing delicious food since 2000. They mainly produce naturally-grown Hale‘iwa Gold oranges and Meyer lemons, as well as a variety of other fruit & produce including limes, grapefruit, avocado, mango, papaya, and more.Donald started planting the trees about 15 years ago, and his daughter Noe has now joined him as farm manager. They are now both at the farm full-time. As a small farm, they cater to each and every customer, and always encourage open communication and feedback.
They follow GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) to make sure their food is safe. They strive for the freshest, longest-lasting produce by harvesting on-demand and/or following proper post-harvest procedures for each crop.
