Nestled in Haleiwa's Anahulu river valley on Oahu's North Shore, Lokoea Farms is a local family-run operation that has been growing delicious food since 2000. We mainly produce naturally-grown Haleiwa Gold oranges and Meyer Lemons, as well as a variety of other fruit & produce including limes, grapefruit, avocado, mango, papaya and more.Donald started planting the trees about 15 years ago, and his daughter Noe has now joined him as farm manager. They are now both at the farm full-time. As a small farm, we cater to each and every customer, and want to encourage open communication and feedback. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us anytime!
We have the deepest respect for our land, and aim to improve our soil year after year by using regenerative practices such as compost, mulching, and cover crops in the orchard. We use recycled rain water to irrigate our trees. Our first line of defense against pests is growing healthy trees with healthy immune systems and promoting beneficial bugs and soil organisms. We only use OMRI-approved organic pesticides as a last resort.
We follow GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) to make sure our food is safe. We strive for the freshest, longest lasting produce by harvesting on-demand and/or following proper post-harvest procedures for each crop. If our customer is not happy with our produce for any reason, we want to know about it so we can make improvements! We add value by providing the highest degree of personalized service to our customers.
