About Mānoa Honey & Mead

Mānoa Honey started in 1989 in Oʻahu's Mānoa Valley. Since its inception, they have put their very best efforts and passion into producing the finest honey, mead, as well as specialty hive products. They are a small, family-owned-and-operated beekeeping company with teams of beekeepers and a honey house crew, working hard every day—just like bees!

As beekeepers, artists, and mead makers, Mānoa Honey is deeply appreciative of nature's wonders. In honor of nature's gifts, they hone their crafts within the "Golden Triangle"— the special relationship between plants, bees, and mankind.

They raise bees all over Oʻahu and one of their apiaries is on the slopes of the iconic Diamond Head Crater, where they harvest their Crater Kiawe Honey. On the other side of the island, their bees forage on Christmas Berry blossoms near the coastline of the North Shore. The hot, dry westside of Oʻahu is a prime location for their White Kiawe Honey. Mānoa Honey harvests fresh bee pollen daily in central Oʻahu. Every apiary has unique flora that creates special and distinguished honey products.
