But when he realized that he couldn't find the fresh, nixtamal tortillas he made and ate daily, he switched his focus.RAIZ is the home of Hawaiʻi's micro-tortilleria — focused on small batch, fresh ancestral-style tortillas made with beautiful varieties of heirloom corn sustainably sourced from small generational farms throughout Mexico.
It is the RAIZ promise to deliver nothing but pure masa and tortillas using only three ingredients: Corn, Water, and Lime. Simple as they are intended to be, just how our ancestors made them.
RAIZ Tortillas are 100% preservative-free, gluten-free, and vegan.
