Salted Milk Chocolate Bar
Appealing to both dark and milk chocolate fans, here they've sprinkled ʻAlaea sea salt over the back of 50% dark milk Hawai‘i-grown chocolate to accentuate the flavors found in Hawai‘i's cacao. The result is a sweet, salty, and creamy bar that's crowd-pleasing and addictive.
They propagated their own cacao seedlings, planted their first trees in 2009, and now farm 14 acres of cacao by hand on the North Shore. They harvest the fruit, use wild fermentations, and dry the beans, up on the farm. They then handcraft small batches of chocolate bars at their factory in Honolulu. Using traditional techniques, they have collected an array of vintage chocolate-making equipment over the years to produce their chocolate.
