Yellow Carrot

Beasley Farms is located on the slopes of Mt. Ka’ala. They raise goats and chickens, as well as organically grown vegetables. As graduates of Go Farm Hawaii, they were inspired to help their local community get fresh organic and locally grown veggies.

They raise their animals and produce with love and care, and it shows in the quality of their food. The chickens get to roam over all four acres and are supplemented with lots of leftovers from the farmers markets produce.

Their biggest challenge as farmers has been learning to deal with the dry weather of Waialua. But every time they harvest it’s a very rewarding feeling, knowing they grew everything from seed to harvest. Beasley Farms specializes in organic tomatoes, but they also grow specialty carrots and beets, as well as occasionally broccoli and cauliflower.
