• Hiki No Farms
  • Hiki No Farms, situated within the Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation's Ag Park in Kunia, offers sweet and succulent pineapples that are an ideal treat for individuals. As a part-time farmer, Michael Okamura tends to his delightful pineapple and banana crops, inspired by his lifelong dream of owning a farm. Raised on a farm himself, with his father being a prominent cabbage farmer in Kula Maui, Okamura's deep-rooted connection to agriculture has fueled his passion for the past six years.

Okamura's mission is to provide the community with an extraordinary pineapple that stands out from the rest. Confident that his pineapple possesses a unique quality unparalleled in the market, he aims to share this exceptional fruit with the world. Notably, his pineapples are grown in a size perfect for one person to enjoy, making them an ideal snack for individuals or a delightful treat for two to savor together without concerns of wastage.

Although occupied as a food inspector for the Department of Health on most days, Okamura dedicates his free time to nurturing his pineapple fields. He diligently harvests the fruits of his labor and takes them to produce stands along Oʻahu's North Shore. Despite the challenges of balancing two jobs, Okamura finds inspiration from his fellow farmers, drawing motivation from their resilience and dedication. Hiki No Farms operates within an agricultural park, fostering a supportive community of 20 small farms coexisting across four parcels of land.
To experience the aromatic and enchanting pineapples of Hiki No Farms, keep an eye out for their roadside stands scattered along the North Shore. Okamura embraces a more traditional approach to distributing his fruit, making it a delightful and healthy snack for those passing through Kunia or driving along the shore.
