Founded by and for farmers in 2015, Farm Link Hawaiʻi is the premier marketplace for local online grocery shopping, delivering across Oʻahu every day. We offer an ever-growing selection of fresh produce, eggs, meat, pantry staples, prepared foods, snacks, alcohol, mixers, and more!
We're committed to making local food accessible to everyone by accepting SNAP-EBT and Double Up Food Bucks (DA BUX), while delivering fresh, local food in communities where it can be hard to find! With Farm Link, buying local is easy peasy.
Why We Do What We Do
Four out of five Oʻahu grocery shoppers wish they could access more local food. Even though the need and demand for locally grown, raised, and made products far exceeds supply, producers operating in Hawaiʻi’s local food system faces tremendous challenges as they seek to achieve economic viability and scale their operations. As of 2017, 57% of Hawaiʻi farms were operating at a loss, which continues to this day.
Farm Link Hawaiʻi (FLH) strengthens the local food system by supporting small and medium-scale local farms, ranches, and food makers statewide as a central distribution hub. We provide the online marketplace, shipping and delivery logistics, multi-temp cold storage facilities, demand data, long-term buying commitments, and access to capital our partners need to thrive.
Since 2015, FLH has established partnerships with over 250 Hawaiʻi producers, including many beginning and traditionally underserved farmers including Native Hawaiian, immigrant, and veteran producers.
Local Food = A Local Living Economy for All
In 2023 alone, we purchased $1,728,013 worth of local goods from Hawaiʻi producers.
Our neighbor-island freight consolidation program makes it easier and cheaper for neighbor-island producers to ship products to the Oʻahu market while protecting food safety and quality. And our multi-temp cold and dry food storage facilities are a vital resource for local food distribution, both on a daily basis and in times of crisis.
We make great local food accessible across Oʻahu through direct home delivery seven days a week. By offering free delivery SNAP-EBT users, and automatically applying the DA BUX (Double Up Food Bucks) 50% discount on local produce and poi, we are also improving access to local food in underserved communities. In 2023 FLH served 3,572 households, including 597 families using SNAP-EBT.
