Hawaiian Tangerine

Out of stock

Tangerines grown locally, here on our islands, are typically are green in color and don't color up much (or at all) to orange, because of the warm weather in Hawai'i. Cold weather is what usually makes certain tangerine varieties orange. However, don't be fooled! These tangerines are typically green but indeed both sweet and delicious! They make a great snack!

Hawaiʻi’s local food production is a growing industry and there are natural variations in the size and availability of produce week to week. We aim to price these fairly to ensure you’re getting a good value when you shop with Farm Link. Please let us know if you’re ever less than satisfied with your purchase.

Lokoea Farms

Nestled in Hale‘iwa’s Anahulu river valley on O‘ahu’s North Shore, Lokoea Farms is a family-run operation that has been growing delicious food since 2000. They mainly produce naturally-grown Hale‘iwa Gold oranges and Meyer lemons, as well as a variety of other fruit & produce including limes, grapefruit, avocado, mango, papaya, and more.

Donald started planting the trees about 15 years ago, and his daughter Noe has now joined him as farm manager. They are now both at the farm full-time. As a small farm, they cater to each and every customer, and always encourage open communication and feedback.

They follow GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) to make sure their food is safe. They strive for the freshest, longest-lasting produce by harvesting on-demand and/or following proper post-harvest procedures for each crop.
