Organic Sunrise Papaya

Ranging in color from green to yellow. These papayas are sweet and juicy with hints of honey and melon.
A delicious tropical fruit packed with nutrients that is sweet and juicy with hints of honey and melon. Sunrise Papayas can range in color from a light golden-yellow to a deeper, more vibrant orange. Inside the fruit is a bright, orange color similar to that of a beautiful sunrise. Cut it in half, scoop the seeds out, and fill it with your favorite toppings!
As a way to support our farmers, we accept crops that are irregular in size. Their produce is still locally grown, delicious, and of high-quality. Sometimes we will have small, medium, and large papayas available, so we have graded them out here at Farm Link Hawaiʻi. You will only be charged for the size you receive.
Kumu Farms
Kumu Farms started as a small family farm on the island of Molokaʻi in 1981, growing specialty produce such as culinary herbs and peppers for the local market.
They now grow both organic and conventional produce and are certified organic by Oregon Tilth. They grow GMO-Free (Organic and conventionally grown) Sunrise Papaya, as well as bananas and other fresh produce for the local and US market.
Their Maui location at Maui Tropical Plantation began in 2011 and officially opened in the winter of 2012. In Waikapu, Maui, they grow a variety of fresh produce such as lettuces, kale, corn, eggplants, carrots, bananas, fennel, and a variety of culinary herbs.
