Enjoy these colorful eggs collected from more than 15 different heritage chicken breeds. Very limited production.

Waialua Growers raises their chickens on a small family-owned farm on the North Shore of O'ahu. Their chickens are fed egg laying feed (not organic) and 3 way scratch, supplemented by a ton of herb cuttings, papayas, and assorted greens like kale, swiss chard, and arugula - papayas being their absolute favorite.  They have more than 15 breeds of chickens: Buff and Lavender Orphingtons, Bared Rocks, Easter and Olive Eggers, Americana, Black and Golden Sexlinks, Silkies, Leghorn, White Crested Black Polish, Delaware, Welsummers, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Australorps, and 1 or 2 others.

All of their chickens have names after movie and tv characters, like the silkies are Rose, Blanch and Dorothy (The Golden Girls) and the American are Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette (The Chipettes), while their roosters are named after singers, like Frank Sinatra, Elton John, and Eminem.
They have a flock of 48 - 6 Roosters, 42 hens, and 2 additional silkie chicks.

Raised and harvested in Hawai'i

About Waialua Growers

Kellie has been working in food and agriculture for a long time. She and her husband John were both working at Whole Foods Market in New York when, in 2008, they transferred to the Kāhala store to be closer to John's mom on Oʻahu. Soon after, Kellie joined Herbco International to coordinate the export of fresh herbs from Hawaiʻi. There she became proficient in herb production but was bothered by the fact that these amazing herbs weren't available to locals. In 2017, Kellie and John went out on their own, leased five acres, and began selling certified organic fresh herbs and edible flowers as Waialua Growers.
