About Hawaiʻi ʻUlu Cooperative

Hawai'i 'Ulu Cooperative is a cooperative of 80 farms growing ʻulu, or breadfruit, around Hawaiʻi Island. They work together to process and market their crop to ensure a consistent, year-round supply of high-quality ʻulu and help develop the growing market and industry.

HUC maintains breadfruit production and processing standards to ensure its products are safe, high quality, healthy and delicious. All of their farms employ all-natural, organic practices using non-toxic chemicals. They promote diversified agroforestry systems in which breadfruit has traditionally been grown throughout the Pacific for millennia.
