A special Hawaiʻi-grown variety, Groff lychee is prized for its exceptionally small seed, which means more sweet, juicy flesh in every fruit. Smaller than the familiar Kaimana lychee, Groff has firm white flesh with a rich sweetness and pleasantly floral, aromatic flavor.

Developed in Hawaiʻi from the Hak Ip variety, Groff is also a late-season lychee, typically ripening in August and September and extending Hawaiʻi’s short lychee season. Its combination of excellent flavor, high flesh-to-seed ratio, and local history makes Groff a true Hawaiʻi favorite.
