A native Hawaiian ohana on a mission to save honey bees. They rescue bees on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi through live bee removal services (in lieu of extermination) and relocate them to their hometown of North Kohala.
They relocated their first hive from a water meter box near their home in 2016 and have since rescued over 200 bee colonies across the island. Their bees are happy and busy pollinating local farms and gardens, while they couldn’t be more excited about supporting food sovereignty in their community
They produce a variety of healing honey infused with lāʻau (Hawaiian plant medicine) to nourish our lāhui. They help families take control of their health by prioritizing and incorporating food medicine into their daily diet.
