A Brazilian super berry with a bit of sweetness. It's also called Brazilian Grapetree.

Jabuticaba, like acai, is another super berry with Brazilian roots. It has a shiny, dark purple, almost black, grape-like, astringent, edible skin. Inside this tropical fruit are a few crunchy, edible seeds embedded in a sweet, white or light rosé colored flesh.
They are great made into wine, liquor, jellies, and syrups to name a few. 

Grown in Hawaiʻi
