Pūpūkea Home Farm is a 1.5-acre family orchard located in Pūpūkea on the North Shore of Oʻahu. The family has lived on this property for 23 years, and are caretakers of trees that were planted long before they moved here.
Pūpūkea Home Farm uses no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. They are constantly learning and trying to improve their growing practices. They started selling lychee years ago on the side of the road, and are grateful now to be able to sell to a larger audience to feed their community and avoid waste. They grow two types of lychee (Kaimana and Groff), three kinds of avocados (Mālama, Green Gold, and Yamagata - making their avocado seasons last about 8 months a year), as well as starfruit, longan, and key limes.
