Uri Goldstein left the east coast at the age of eighteen for University in Boulder, Colorado. After school, he visited California for the first time and it was love at first sight. He spent the next few years traveling the world and learning about different cultures and cuisines, eventually settling in Maui.
Traveling through the tropics he became acquainted with various fruits and learned about preservation techniques. Working in produce he was again surrounded by an abundance of fruits and began crafting delicious and nutritious recipes with the excess fruit he had access to. He was delighted to make high-quality creations from what would have otherwise gone to waste.
