The long answer: Kombucha is a living, effervescent beverage that contains probiotics, enzymes, yeasts, and acids. SKY Kombucha starts with organic and fair-trade green and black tea mixed with organic sugar. This “sweet tea” is fermented for weeks, allowing the culture (SCOBY – see more below) to eat most of the sugar and caffeine, resulting in a brew that tastes tangy and slightly sweet known affectionately as “kombucha.”
Ingredients: SKY's original brew (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast, Organic, Fair-Trade Highest Quality Tea, Organic Cane Sugar, Triple Filtered and UV-treated Hawaiian Water), local fresh mint leaves, and organic strawberries
